An enchanted refuge among the Italian mountains
After the events of 2016 the thought of reopening seemed impossible. I'm now honoured to contribute to the recovery of this wonderful territory, restarting with gratitude what my parents initiated.

THE VILLA
Built in the nineteenth century, is located in the small town of Bagnolo di Amatrice (RI) about 100 km north of Rome. It is surrounded by a large, verdant garden located on a hill (1050 masl) in a vast plateau of Upper Lazio, with a panorama that ranges from the Sibillini Mountains to the Laga Mountains up to the Gran Sasso Chain.
Due to its location between the Gran Sasso and Monti Sibillini National Parks, allows the visit of numerous sites of scenic interest and allows for a peaceful and restful stay.
Numerous historic centers are easily reachable nearby, allowing for artistic, cultural and culinary itineraries. Upper Lazio is in fact located between splendid regions such as Umbria, Marche and Abruzzo, with the Adriatic Sea about 70km away. The whole area also offers numerous food and wine opportunities as well as the possibility to buy local food products famous all over the world.

Cultural sites
Amatrice, Cittaducale, Leonessa, Offida, Ascoli Piceno, Norcia and the plain of Castelluccio are easily reachable
Franciscan itineraries
Of interest is the proximity to the Franciscan itineraries in the Reatino area: Greccio, Fonte Colombo, La Foresta, Poggio Bustone
Walks and Excursions
The numerous and nearby mountain groups, with peaks from 2500 to 3000m, as well as the two nearby National Parks, allow walks and excursions
Activities and Free Time
Other entertainment possibilities are offered by the paragliding school in the nearby Piana di Castelluccio di Norcia
Horse riding and sport fishing
For horse riding and sport fishing you can visit the nearby lakes Scandarello, Campotosto, Salto and Turano and the Tronto and Velino rivers
Thermal baths
Two thermal baths, Acquasanta Terme and Cotilia, are nearby
